Our Costa Rica fishing charters offer year round fishing on calm Pacific waters for Sailfish, Blue/Black/Striped Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Dorado, Roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, and many other local species. The Dream Raiser, is a 35-foot Cabo Crusader outfitted with Penn International, Shimano and Avet reels. Bait, lunch and drinks are included on all Costa Rica fishing charters. We also have a local English-speaking captain and deckhand. The Dream Raiser is located in Los Suenos Marina just north of the town of Jaco, Costa Rica.

There in an immense amount of detailed info that we just can’t explain on our website, we encourage you to contact us by phone & speak directly to the boat owner and Captain that you will be fishing with. The Costa Rica fishing charters leave the dock at about 7:30 a.m. and return about 4:30 p.m. All billfish are released for conservation. Dorado (mahi-mahi), tuna, wahoo and several other species can be kept for eating. Many local restaurants will gladly prepare your catch for you.

MARLIN are available rear round with the best months being January through September. Blue & Black Marlin are the most abundant with fish averaging 200-400 lbs and some monsters in the 600-800 lb range.
SAILFISH are the most abundant fish and are available all year. December through May are the best months with 10-20 fish days common and fish averaging 80-100 lbs.
YELLOWFIN TUNA are caught year-round and are mostly found around the dolphin schools with fish up to 300 lbs.
DORADO or MAHI MAHI are caught regularly while trolling for sailfish & marlin. Delicious and plentiful.
ROOSTERFISH are found year round & offer some great action with many fish in the 50-90 lb range being landed.

It's almost offical, after viewing the 2011 halibut sport catch statistics, the powers that be have retreated in the attack to lower our catch limit to one halibut. This should be enough ammunition for us to continue the 2 halibut of any size daily limit we enjoy in our area of Alaska. YIPPEE!!!!

Great start to the season... last week's top fish was a 185 lb halibut to go with the client's nice "white" king salmon. Several 70-90 pound fish were also pulled aboard Carolyn last week. Biologists predict great returns of both king and silver salmon... along with a very healthy halibut stock. Come on up!
